Massassi B Ltd  recognizes that privacy and security is a major concern. We have therefore set out below the guidelines we use for protecting your personal information. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and check it periodically since it may change from time to time.

GDPR

  1. Your privacy is critical to us. We respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation regarding your personal information.
  2. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. ‘Data Protection Law’s means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data, including, but not limited to the GDPR.
  4. ‘GDPR’ means the UK General Data Protection Regulation.
  5. ‘Data Controller’. Personal Data’ and ‘processing’ shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR.
  6. We are a Data Controller of the Personal Data we Process in providing Goods to you.
  7. Where you supply Personal Data to us so we can provide Goods to you, and Process that Personal Data while providing the Goods to you, we will comply with our obligations imposed by the Data Protection Laws:
  8. Before or at the time of collecting Personal Data, we will identify the purposed for which information is being collected.
  9. We will only Process Personal Data for the purposes identified.
  10. We will respect your rights in relation to your Personal Data; and

  12. By using our website, you (the customer) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

  Data Retention

  1. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Governing law, jurisdiction and complaints

  1. The contract (including any non-contractual matters) is governed by the law of England and Wales.
  2. Disputes can be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales or, where the customer lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of respectively Scotland or Northern Ireland.
  3. We try to avoid any dispute, so we deal with complaints in the following way; ‘ if a dispute occurs customers should contact us to find a solution. We will aim to respond with an appropriated solution within 14 days.

Shopify

  1. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
  2. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment

  1. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
  2. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
  3. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Minors

  1. Our Website is not intended for children. We do not intentionally collect any personal data from children under the age of sixteen and will dispose of any such information if we become aware that it has been provided to us.

     

Spoofing and Phishing

  1. Spoofing and phishing are common Internet scams. These may occur when you receive an email from what appears to be a legitimate source requesting personal data from you. Please be aware that Massassi B Ltd will never send you an email requesting you to verify payment card or bank information.
  2. If you ever receive an email that appears to be from us requesting such information from you, do not respond to it, and do not click on any links appearing in the email. Instead, please forward the email to us at info.massassi@gmail.com, as we will endeavour to investigate all instances of possible online fraud.
